I'd certainly like to know the strategy for age-verification, or as I've come to know it, Epstein Verification.

If would suggest a kind of backporting/semi-rolling 😀
Or in case of point releases, like now, then i would appreciate a notification telling you there is a new minor or major version available, or make it more present in the installer (the menu item hidden in the settings menu is a bit hidden imo).

But I am curious what you will decide to be better for your development process. ;)

Really love Linux Mint! Really bad that I jumped into Linux Desktop just one year before....

Huge Mint fan.
But as it's based on Ubuntu and I see the plans ubuntu has, I'm unsure about the future.
Hoping for the best.
Would be sad if Ihad to change the distro.
Thanks for all the hard work.

Yup, I know.
Problem is that Debian itself is much more stability than being up-to-date.
I need the best of both worlds.

As Mint is currently in high demand+very popular, it would be important to ensure–for example, via the HWE kernel Ubuntu 24.04 and so on–that newer hardware is also supported, so that Mint remains appealing. The idea of alpha+beta releases is a good one; there are certainly people to test them. It would also be helpful if newer Cinnamon releases were incorporated io 22.3, so that Mint remains appealing. In my opinion, the Mate version should be discontinued, as it offers no real added value between Cinnamon+Xfce, but rather consumes valuable time. It would be better to update new Xfce version instead. I wish the Mint team all the best in dealing with this rather tricky situation. I trust the Mint team to do everything they can to ensure Mint remains such a great distribution!
